Day 33 - Punta Arenas, Chile and Strait of Magellan / Cockburn Cnhannel / Beagle Channel

 Wednesday our stop was Punta Arenas, Chili.. It is located on he Strait of Magellan and has ana population of about  145,000. It is the capital of Chili's southmost region - Magallanes and Chile.

Our excursion today was "A Voyage into the Past: Magellan's Discovery" We went of an outdoor museum where replicas of a few famous ships were displayed.

The Sapphire Princess was also in port today along with the Oceana Mariana and us.

On port days, the crew often has a practice safety grill. This is the lead bartender at the Sea View bar that I frequent..  He is the head of this lifeboat station team

We then went to a small Natural History museum
