Thursday wasa sea day as we sail south-east back to the Chile mainland. Today we had a full Emergency Muster Drill. This was as complete a drill as we have ever done. They went through all the steps including having all passengers return to their state and wait for for instructions to proceed to our lifeboat stations. Thet threatened that any passenger who did not comply would be put off at the next port.
We had talks about our next 3 ports and a talk about Chilean wines, This evening the theme was a Glamp-out (Glamorous Camping).
First light
But no sun until later in the morning
Clearing the promenade deck for the Emergency Muster Drill
Seas were relatively calm
At our next ports talk
The Captain walks round the ship frequently
All clear for the Muster Drill
At an interesting talk about Chilean wines
Seas got a little rougher in the afternoon
I have never seen an even wall of clouds like this
At the Glamp-out. The Captain (in black shirt) and another officer trying to dump the other one in the pool
Boat sinking
They both went in. Not sure which one went first.
Camp lights glowing
Sunset was looking promissing.
Some rays of sunlight
Then it fizzled out. I did not see the sun before it set.
Back to the Glamp-out
A reeling in the fish contest.
