Monday we had a full day in San Antonio, Chile.
Our excursion today was "Panoramic Landscapes and Winery". Our excursion bus took us north of San Antonino to the Matetic Winery. Irw about a 3/4 hour drive through the towns and countryside.

| WE got up to about 850 feet |

| The winery guide explained the history and processes in making their wines. If I remember, they make about 7 different wines |

| At the end of the winery tour we took the bus to the location of their store an a small hotel next to it, |

| We bought 2 bottles the ewe are allowed to bring back aboard the ship with no corkage fee added |

| Yesterday, I walke to near thsi pier but did not realize tht there were sea lion there so after we got back to the ship, I walked over to see them. |

| There were many people fishing from the pier and were theoughing the cut off part in the water for the sea lions to eat. |

| The refueling ship next to us. There had been on there earlier but there were issues and another one came. We were delayed in leaving from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM. *Update: I learned on Friday at the "Ask the Captain" talk that the reason we left late is because of a port regulation that our ship plus the refueling barge exceeded the port limits width when there was another ship in motion, even though is was no where near us, thar they had to disconnect and come dack later to finish the refueling. We needed to be completely full for our adventure to Antarctica |

| Sunset was a challenge. The wasa container ship between us and the sun and there was nor place on the ship that I could get a clear view so I went with this the gap between the bridge tower and a stack of containers were I could see the horizon |
