On our second day in Lima, we did an excursion called "Cathedral, Casa Garcia Alvarado & Monastery"

| The Lima Cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of Lima. Construction began in 1535 and finished in 1797 |

| Next we wnet to the Casa Garcia Alvarado for a tour and refreshment.. |

| The owner of the house - Mrs. Ana Maria Garcia Alvarado met and talked with us. The house was built in 1912 by her grandfather. She lives across the courtyard in another part of the building. |
