Monday, out port-of-call was our second island in the Canary Islands, We docked in the port of Arrecife on the island of Lanzarote.. It is the 4th largest of the 7 island of the Canary Islands which are a part of Spain. It is the northern-most and eastern-most of the islands.
The greatest recorded volcanic eruptions occurred between 1730 and 1736 in the area now designated as Timanfaya National Park which we visited today in our excursion called "Island of Fire Mountains and Camel Ride".

Our first stop was at a restaurant that sits on the active Timanfaya volcano and uses underground heat from the volcano to cook food.
