Day 89 - Santa Cruz (Tenerife), Canary Islands, Spain

Sunday, our port of call was Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Tenerife Island in the Canary Islands,\. These island are part of Spain. The Canary Islands is made up of 7 islands and is part of Spain. Tenerife is the largest of the islands

Our excursion today was "Santa Cruz and the Pyramid Park". The Pyramids of Guimar were discovered by Norwegian adventurer  Thor  Heyerdahl in 1990

WE then drove to the town of Candelaria to see the Basilica de Nuestra  Senora (Basilica of the Royal Marian Shrine of Our Lady of Candelaria)
