Saturday, we continued our stay in Portland, the port city for Weymouth. by being able to dock at our schedulable pier. One the immigartion officials were on board we all had to do a face-to-face visit with an immigartion officer. Then we went ashore to get on our excursion bus. Our excursion today was "Magnificent Tudor Athelhampton & the Stone Giant". The Athelhampton manor had it's beginnings in the 11th century and has been added onto and updates over the centuries. There and wondeful gardens all around the building.

The Stone Giant more properly named Cerne Abbas Giant is a carving into the hillside then filled with crushed chalk. Itis estimated it was created 700-1100 AD.
