Day 108 - Copenhagen, Denmark

 Friday we were in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Out excursion here was "Kings & Vikings: The Viking Ship Museum and Roskilde Cathedral". Roskilde is a city about 20 miles west of Copenhagen.,  It used to be the capital of Denmark and is a World Heritage site.








Where we were



We passed Kronborg Castle which the settling for  Shakespears Hamlet's home, Elsinore

On the road to Roskilde, we saw a number of burial mounds.They are from the period 1500 - 1200 BC



We stopped at the small village of Hvedstrup to see the church
