Day 100 - At Sea - sailing north towards England

After leaving A Coruna late last evening  we ran at higher speed than would normally been used so that our stabilizers would smooth our ride across the Bay of  Biscay then across the English Channel to our next port of Portsmouth, England.  We should get there midday Friday but there is s cargo ship at the dock we will use and they are not sure when it will leave so we may need to anchor there for awhile until we can dock.  The seas have been rough during the day with 30+ mph winds but seem to be settling down some in the evening . Nit as much pitching and rolling this evening.

And we are also hearing that because of  the rioting in Paris (because of the increase in retirement benefits age), our stop in Le Havre or perhaps just excursions going to Paris may be cancelled.

A group of people who will be on next year's Grand Australia and New Zealand cruise Jan 3 2024) with us  met to get to know each other.

Strong winds blowing the tops ff the waves

Rough seas today

No sign of the sun at sunset time

Open patches of sky but it was too late for seeing the sun setting
