Day 99 - Cherbourg, France

Saturday, our port of call was Cherbourg, France. It is a gateway to the WW2 D-Day beaches in Normandy. It was Titanic's first stop after leaving Southhampton in 1912.

The was rain and thunderstorms in the morning. We did the Ravalets Castle portion of the drive (and got wet doing it)  but most of us decided to go back to the ship instead of getting more  wet walking around the old partr of town. The  grounds and gardens at the castle we very nice,

Our excursion was "Cherbourg and Ravalets Castle"

Some color started but it  didn't get very far.
