Day 103 - South Queensferry (Edinburgh) Scotland, United Kingdom

 Our next port of call was to South Queensferry, Scotland witch is the port for Edinburgh. 

Our excursion was "Edinburgh Highlights and Castle"



Sailing into the Firth of Forth

There are 3 bridges crossing the Firth of Forth, Their construction dates span 3 centuries., The red one is the cantilever  Forth Bridge which is now railway trains only  was built in 1890 and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The middle one is the Forth Road Bridge opened in 1964 is used for buses only  and the 3rd one is the Queensferry Crossing bridge opened in 2017.


The  port provided several larger tenders ane we used several of the ships tenders
