Day 125 - St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada


Thursaday, our stop was in St. Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.  We were here 3 years ago.

Our excursion todae was "Newfoundland Screech In".  A Screech In is a Newfoundland tradition to make non-Newfoundlanders honorary Newfoundlanders.

The Cabot Tower  on Signal Hill  completed in 1900 and commemorating the 400th anniversary of  John Cabot's landing in Newfoundland. It was the site where Guglielmo Marconi received the first wireless trans-Atlantic message in 1901.

To We first went to and arae called Quidi Vidi


This is a fishing villiage




We went to this craft brewery for a tasting






Their Iceberg beer is made  with water  from melted icebergs

We saw several icebergs




No sunset seen tonight because of fog.
