Day 88 - Gibralter

 Tuesday we were in the Por of Gibraltar. We have passed here several times late at night bur this is our first stop here..

Our excursion today was "A Stroll i]on the Upper Rock & Cable Car"

The runway at the International airport has a road across it into Spain



A BIAC jet will leave in a  while

Road is closed when planes take off and land (about 5-6 a week)

Th Great Siege was am attempt by Spain and France to capture Gibraltar (1779-17830.  First parts dug by had, There are now about 35 miles of tunnels in and  under the rock.
