Day 90 - Barcelona, Spain (Day 1)

Our first day in Barcelona.

We arrived earlier than expected and we were already docked when I got up.  Mid-morning the Holland America ship Zuiderdam arrived and docked next to us with the backs of the ships facing each other.

There will be 6 other large cruise ships in port today with a total estimated  23,000 passengers. This is one of them arriving.

This one will dock next to the front of our ship.  It backs in between us and a cargo ship across from us.

The port had banners acknowledging our meet-up.  Kathy and I just went out into the terminal to see what shops were there. Passengers on both Holland America ships were allowed to go back and forth betwenn the ships. We went over to visit friends we had from our 2019 and 2023 World Cruises, They had an afternoon tea we could attend
