Thursday was the first of 2 days sailing north-west towards the mouth of the Amazon River. We will enter at the northern most chanel of the almost 200 mile wide Marajo Archipelago which consists of about 2500 islands. We will enter on the high tide Friday evening about 6 PM. The tide differential here is about 18 feet.
