Day 61 - Fortaleza, Brazil

 

Wednesday, our port-of-call was Fortaleza on the north-east coast of Brazil. It is the capital of the state of Ceara and has a population of about 2.4 million

Our excursion today was "Best of Fortaleza". We stopped at  the main Cathedral, a theater, a market and a beach,

A  motorcycle parking lot. They provide cardboard to cover the seat to stop it from getting too hot

Then on to an old prison that has been converted to to a marketplace






Then we stopped at one of the beach for a few minutes


We could see our ship (behind the cargo ship) in the distance
