Monday was the first of 2 sea days as we sail north up the west coast of Africa towards our next stop in The Gambia.
It was a quiet day here on the Zuiderdam. On the gastrointestinal outbreak, the told us that this is probably a bacterial (as opposed to viral like Norovirus) infection that they think came from produce loaded in South Africa. It is spread by contact/ingestion as opposed to airborne. We are requested to continue hand washing whenever we enter restaurants.
Today, I did another Mixology class. It was a fun time as always.First color of the morning.
Sun just about made it out before a dark cloud passed over it
Calm, almost glass like sea today
Where we are Monday
Very hard to tell the difference between sea and sky.
At my mixology class.
Today, it was an assortment of cocktails.
Sunset approaching
Not much color as the sun went down
but a little later, the pink showed up.
