Day 22 - Scrabster, Scotland


Saturday our port of call was Scrabster, Scotland. It is on the  north coast of the Scottish mainland.  

(more pictures than normal today as most people could not log onto internet  this morning so it was very fast for those of us that were already in)

we will use the new larger dock which opened in February 2022

as we ate lunch we watched the lineup for the shuttle bus back to the ship, We walked back

Kathy climbs steep gangway to get back on ship. We have  needed to be wearing masks indoors since the second week of the cruise .

Saturday was my birthday. The ship sent this birthday cupcake.

we had a bagpipe player and local  young highland dances for our sailaway




They walked and waved goodbye as we backed away from the pier




Thurso as we sailed away on our way back to Iceland
