Our first day in Reykjavik, Iceland. My afternoon/evening excursion was "Best of the Golden Circle - evening edition"

there were 2 other cruise shops in port - The Viking Jupiter and the Cunard Queen Victoria
For the morning, we walked from the cruise port along the ocean. They have a very nice walking trail and bike trail system
We passed the building where Reagan and Gorbachev met in 1986
the turbine room of a a geo-thermal power plant
we saw may stream vents during our travels
There is a geyser basin. This is the most active one - it erupts about every 7 minutes
next stop was Gullfoss Falls
we saw many Icelandic horses. They were introduced by the Vikings in about 900 AD

our last stop waa Thingvellir National aprk were the North American and the Euro-Asis continental plates meet and have created a rift valley. On this trail we were walking between the plates
