Sunday, our first stop of our cruise was Bar Harbor, Maine, This town shares Mount Desert Island with Acadia National Park. The town is basically a resort / summer home place. For those of you who looked at my previous cruise pictures, you will know I like taking pictures of sunrises and sunsets so I am starting and ending with those. WE did and excursion called "Acadia National Park Loop & Lobster Demo" . It follows the road that circles the park. One of our stops was at Thunder Hole which is a natural rock inlet where waves crash with a thunderous boom high -flying foam when the seas are up, It was quite quiet when we were there. It is very picturesque. The lobster part was a presentation by an ex-lobster fisherman and explained all about lobster (sorry, no pictures)
