Day 11 - Reykjavik, Iceland (Day 2)

 On our second day in Reykjavik, we did an excursion called "Lunar Landscapes and Viking World Museum". We passed through a volcano crater  with a lake in itand then went to Krysuvik Geothermal Area which contains hot springs, bubbling mud pools and steam vents.

There is a the Icelander, a replica of a Viking ship. This boat sailed to New York in 2000 to commemorate Leif Erikssons journey to the New World a thousand years earlier 

we could get onto the ship
