Day 28 - Cruising Prince Christian Sound

Today, we sail back though Prince Christian Sund  from the other direction

Sunrise started with a pink sky

then it changed to yeloow

then as we entered the sound, it got very foggy. Small iceberg in the fog

then the fog lifted

a weather station

lots of people on the bow watching

we met another cruise ship

a seal on the ice

and birds

a glacier from the Greenland Ice Sheet

a waterfall

a glacier that is receding. paths of rocks on it's top

a small very remote village

there were residents out waving at us. Many waved back.

several came out one a boat to great and wave

this one looked normal

then as we passed,

it had an dramatic back part

getting the ice ready for the Polar Plunge to celebrate that we had crossed the Arctic Circle
they put the ice in the back pool then a bunch of people including me jumped in

then the fog returned
