Wednesday, our last stop in Iceland was at the town of Isafjardur in the Westfjords region. It is at the end of a 13 km fjord. My excursion today was "Sudureyri: A Taste of the Westfjords". Kathy decided to skip this one because of the cold weather (42 F) and chance of rain in conjunction with the smell of fish processing. It went to a small fishing village on the next fjord. Sudureyri has a population of about 276.
