Day 93 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Friday, we were in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. To get to the dock here we had to pass through a lock and sail up the Amstel River for a couple of hours, Our excursion today was "Amsterdam, City of Diamonds".   In the evening, Holland American Line hosted a "Mariner Appreciation Day " event. They had rented the world famous "RUK Museum" for the evening for a party and private viewing of at the exhibits for all the Grand World Voyage guests and staff. They bused about 2000 people from the cruise terminal to the museum.

The lock we passed through about 5 AM. We descended about 10 feet
