Tuesday and Wednesday were sea days as we sailed from Mumbai to Muscat, Oman. We had calm seas and a nice breeze which mad it comfortable. The first day we had an "Anti-Piracy Drill. Because we will be sailing through an area known as the Indian Ocean High Risk Area for piracy, the ship takes a number of precautions including adding extra security officers, install Long Distance Acoustic Devices (LRAD)" which are sound guns that can emit a 162 db sound beam, set up a number of high pressure hoses which can be used to repel boarders. run the ship at full speed (about 25 knots) through the area. During the drill, passengers were instructed to move away from any rooms with windows or any open decks and sit on the floor as they ship may need to make quick turns. The red line signifies the current risk area which we will be in for a few days after we leave Muscat Thursday evening.

| I saw this bird near the front of the ship. It is related to the albatross family but I have not determined what type of bird it is. I think it may be a Petral |
