Day 85 - Barcelona, Spain

Thursday, we were in Barcelona, Spain. It was an overcast, windy day.Out excursion was called "Barcelona Sights and Flamenco Show". We first drove around  the old Gothic Quarter   then through the  Modernist area of the city. We when to see Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Church. This building was started in 1882 and it is still under construction. They are now estimating that it will be completed in 2026.

one oi the other cruise ships that entered just before us backing into it berth. We had a one hour delay because they had to wait for a big container ship to leave first.

Back on board ship, . they had another big sail-away party in honor of the CEO of Holland America Line who came on board
