Our first day at sea. It was windy (about 40 - 48 mph) and mostly overcast. Our route takes us around Cuba. Later in the afternoon as we sailed along the north-east coast of Cuba, the winds picked up. I took a few pictures of the waves splashing up. There was not much of a sunset tonight.
Most days, I try to be up on deck before the sun rises so I can watch it occur if it is not too overcast. They have many activities planned each sea day to help keep us busy. Today I tried something new, I am taking the Tai Chi beginner class. To help use keep track of what day it is, Holland America has mats with the day of the week in each elevator.
