Our net stop took us back to France , or at least a French self governing territory (The last in North America) of France - St. Pierre and Miquelon. They are just off the south coast of Newfoundland. Under terms of the 1763 Treaty of Paris, which put an end to the Seven Years War, France ceded all their North American processions to Britain though Britain granted then fishing rights along the Newfoundland coast and return t Saint Pierre and Miquelon to France
