Thursday, our port of call was Santa Marta, Columbia. This was the first Spanish settlement in Columbia founded in 1525. The population is a little over 1/2 a million. Our walking excursion today was "Latin Beats & Historical City Walk".

| This is an industrial port. We docked beside a coal shipping facility. Coal bisquettes is the second largest export of Caolumbia. |

| On shuttle ride back to the ship (they don't allow you to walk in the industrial port so shuttles must be used) coal briquettes being deposited for loading onto ships. |
